Meet the wedding party

melissa.jpg

Melissa

MAID OF HONOR

Melissa (or Rita as Jessie used to have to call her when they were little as she could not pronounce her name) is Jessie’s older sister — and like most sisters, they’ve had their fair share of bickering, teasing, and the occasional full-blown battle.

But they are best friends and that’s what sisters do. Jessie cannot imagine planning a wedding without Melissa by her side.

Matt

Matt is Pete’s oldest brother.

He unfortunately got stuck babysitting Pete way too often but they both made it out alive! Matt - the star of the family soccer games- is always able to make Pete laugh and keeps the party entertaining.

Pete and Jessie are so excited to have him by their side for their big day.

Nick

BEST MAN

Nick is Pete’s older brother. They shared countless adventures, laughs and a love of all things sports (especially rugby). From playing football in the house, to sneaking across Route 1 as little kids to mini golf, these two trouble makers have always been there for each other.

Maire

Maire is Matt’s wife (Pete’s sister in law). Not only has Maire been there for Pete in the last 11 years of her being married to Matt but she immediately welcomed Jessie into the family. The two bonded instantly over their love of Taylor Swift and being Disney adults. Their close connection has earned them the nickname “thick as thieves” by Pete.

Gabby

Gabby is Jessie’s lifelong best friend. And by lifelong they mean it- just look at the baby pictures of them together to prove it.

After 28 years of friendship she is practically a sister. From playing in the castle in Jessie’s basement, to dressing up in Lorna’s old dresses, to having Melissa be their “teacher” in school they were always together.

Jessie can’t imagine celebrating her big day without Gabby at her side.

Randy

Randy is Pete’s cousin. Growing up Pete has some of his favorite memories going to the cape with Randy and catching all kinds of crabs and fish in the tidal pools. After hours in the water they would sneak away to play baseball. Even today at parties the boys can be found playing corn hole or almost crashing into each other to fight over the soccer ball and score that last goal!
